ABOUT THE SEATTLE FILM SOCIETY

Marcus currently serves as the President and Artistic Director for The Seattle Film Society.

The Seattle Film Society is a filmmaker-run project dedicated to organizing, cultivating, and celebrating Seattle’s filmmaking community. It was founded in 2023 by filmmakers Marcus Baker, Tommy Meisel, Kalee Quiñones, Quentin Lebeau, Ben Johnson, Caity Petterson, and Harlie Sullivan. Since its founding, SFS has regularly popped up all around Seattle with sold out screenings, lively discussions, numerous community partnerships, and more, all with the express goal of bringing people together through a shared love for moviemaking.
